One way to gain muscle is to eat well. What kinds of food should you include in your diet?

Eating is definitely the most important thing in gaining muscle. You need to eat a lot of proteins, which are building blocks for muscle and you need carbohydrates, which are the main energy source for your body. If you don’t get enough carbs during the day your body will start using proteins and muscle as a source of energy! The best foods for muscle gaining are chicken, turkey, steak, rice, pasta, oats, nuts, milk, eggs, and fish.  So make sure you are eating these!

Make sure that you eat every 2-3 hours because feeding your muscles takes longer than you think. After having your breakfast, try to have a snack after 2 hours. Do this again after lunch and evening meal. Drink more water because it makes up about 70% of your muscle.

Another technique that can help you in achieving your muscle building goals is to work out your body with appropriate exercise. Do not expect results in a short time. It may take weeks before you can see physical changes in your body.

Work your biggest muscles. If you’re a beginner, just about any workout will be intense enough to increase protein synthesis. But if you’ve been lifting for a while, you’ll build the most muscle quickest if you focus on the large muscle groups, like the chest, back, and legs. Add squats, deadlifts, pullups, bent-over rows, bench presses, dips, and military presses to your workout. Do two or three sets of eight to 12 repetitions, with about 60 seconds’ rest between sets.

You can take supplements recommended by your doctor. However, it won’t be effective without proper diet and exercise.
